Austin's Surgery

This is a little late...but I wanted to put up some pics of Austin on his big surgery day! Thanks to all who prayed for him last month!

We had to be at the hospital at 5:30 am!


Before the surgery, Austin past the time by playing on Jeff's iphone. This was before the loopy medicine. After he got that, I wish I would have taken video, except I was too worried. He was pretty funny!


AFTER....

He woke up immediately, but didn't feel very good. His throat hurt from the tube and he was nauseous.


Popsicles made him feel way better!

We brought him home that day. He didn't like the fact that he couldn't do anything all day but play his DS and watch movies...that sounds like a perfect day for me, but to Austin it was torture! The first day was hard, but after that his recovery went well!

Have I been kicked out of the blog club yet??? My excuses haven't changed so I will spare you. But I do have a new respect for a mother of 4 because 3 kids are about to do me in :) That being said...here are some pictures of that 3rd child, taken by the amazing photographer Katie!
